Individual Projects (MP)

Application Process and Principles Regarding Evaluation: 

• Applications are announced on the BAP website by the BAP Commission, taking into account the budget status of the relevant year. 
• Applications are made through BAP Automation.

• Individual Project applications may be sent for review by the referee(s) whose number and qualifications are determined by the BAP Commission if deemed necessary, and the commission decides whether the project will be supported based on the referee opinions.
• Priority is given to supporting projects provided in the priority areas determined by our university.

Restrictions:

• Project managers can manage a maximum of 1 individual project at the same time. If they take over an individual project managed by another manager or if another type of project they manage is converted into an individual project, the number limitation is not considered.
• The contribution rate of researchers cannot be less than 10%. The highest contribution rate should belong to the project manager.

Execution and Finalization Process: 

• Interim reports are submitted online only through BAP Automation in 6-month periods in accordance with the interim report format. 
• The final report is submitted online through BAP Automation in accordance with the Final Report Writing Rules. 
• All requests (additional materials, additional time, adding/removing researchers, etc.) are submitted online through BAP Automation.
• The BAP Commission Chair may submit the final report for evaluation by at least one referee if deemed necessary. The BAP Commission decides whether the project will be considered successful based on the forthcoming report.

It is mandatory to convert the final reports of this project type into publications in the number, duration, and manner specified in the BAP Directive.
